What Personal Information About Customers Does the Site Gather?
The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve your shopping experience at the Site. Here are the types of information we gather.
• Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our Site or give us in any other way. This information may include your name, address, contact information, and payment information, as well as products you order or comments you make. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, making your future shopping experience more convenient, improving our products, and communicating with you. To see examples of information you give us, see below.
• Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Websites, we use “cookies,” and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses the Site. To see examples of automatic information, see below.
• E-mail Communications: To help us make emails more useful and interesting, we often receive a confirmation when you open email from 1BAG if your computer supports such capabilities.  We send email as part of the order process in order to confirm your order and update you regarding your order status.  If you do not want to receive newsletters from us, please choose the unsubscribe button on the bottom of our newsletter.

What About Cookies?
• Web browser “cookies” are alphanumeric identifiers that are transferred to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide features such as personalized greetings and storage of items in your Shopping Cart between visits.

Because cookies allow you to take advantage of some of the Site’s features, we recommend that you leave the “accept cookies” feature enabled on your web browser, turned on. For instance, if you block or otherwise reject our cookies, you will not be able to add items to your Shopping Cart, proceed to Checkout, or Sign in.

Does the Site Share the Information It Receives?
Information about our customers is an important part of our business. We are not in the business of selling information to others. We share customer information only as described below.
• Third-Party Service Providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and email, or processing credit card payments. We may also occasionally utilize services that remove repetitive information from customer lists, analyze data, provide marketing assistance, and provide customer service. These service providers have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
• Business Transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy stores, subsidiaries, or business units. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice (unless, of course, the customer consents otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that 1BAG, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.
• Protection of 1BAGand Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of the Site, our users, or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Notice.
• With Your Consent: Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

How Secure Is Information About Me?
• We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
• We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.  This information is transmitted using industry standard encryption techniques.
• It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer by hitting “Logout” on the screen.

How is Information in the Comment Section Used?
We read all comments we receive and reply personally as much as possible. We cannot guarantee that we will reply to your message. We use the information to improve our products and services, and for our customer comment section where we post feedback regarding our products, our website, and our mission. Your comments are important to us. We appreciate all feedback we receive and urge you to send us your thoughts using social media such as or twitter @1bagatatime or via email at  For more information, see our Terms of Use.

What About Links to Other Websites?
Our Site includes links to other Websites. This does not mean we endorse these Websites.  We do not provide any personally identifiable customer information to these third-party Websites.

These third-party Websites may use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons (also known as action tags or single-pixel gifs), and other technologies to identify your computer and gather information. Once you click on a link that takes you outside our Site, we do not have access to or control over cookies or other features that these sites may use. The information practices of these third-party Websites are not covered by this Privacy Notice. Please contact them directly for more information about their privacy practices.

At this time, the Site does not display personalized third-party advertising, but we reserve the right to do so in the future. Should we choose to display ads, it is our general policy not to provide any personal or private information about our customers to advertisers. However advertisers (including ad-serving companies) may assume that users who interact with or click on a personalized advertisement meet their criteria to personalize an ad (for example, users in the northwestern United States who bought or browsed for lunch bags). Once you click on an ad or link that takes you outside our Website, this privacy policy will not cover the practices of other parties. Please check the privacy policy of other sites you visit in order to determine their privacy policies.

• The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether.  Additionally, you can disable or delete similar data used by browser add-ons, such as Flash cookies, by changing the add-on’s settings or visiting the Website of its manufacturer. However, because cookies allow you to take advantage of some of the Site’s features, we recommend that you leave the “accept cookies” feature enabled on your web browser.
